Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) and Noah Baglin (KR/Iame) shared the front row of the grid in the Final ahead of Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM), the future champion who already had the necessary number of points to be crowned. The Kristianstad track was wet and rain was unavoidable on the 21-lap programme.
The first chicane caused a few upsets in the field, but Costoya was a solid leader more than 8 tenths ahead of van Langendonck on the 1st passage. Baglin was 3rd, followed by Rocco Coronel (KR/Iame) without a front fairing and Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame) 5th, who retired shortly afterwards. Ilie Crisan (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 4th ahead of Filippo Sala (LN/TM). Costoya set a string of fastest times and was leading by more than 2” on the fifth lap. Baglin was closing on 2nd-placed van Langendonck. A fine performance from Kenzo Craigie (KR/Iame), albeit a little wild, who completed a double donut without stalling, losing just two places. Kit Belofsky (KR/Iame) had recovered 17 places to 6th by the halfway stage. The large gaps between the top four drivers left little suspense as to the final result. James Anagnostiadis (KR/Iame) was in contention for the biggest comeback with 18 places back in 9th.
Costoya took a superb victory 4.5” ahead of van Langendonck and secured his 2nd position in the Championship, while Baglin finished 3rd 3” back, Crisan was 4th 6.7” further back and Belofsky finished 5th after an 18-place comeback. Louis Cochet (KR/Iame) had moved up nine places to finish 12th.
Provisional results pending publication of the final rankings.
