The rain persists at the KartCenter in Campillos, Spain, on the 1580-meter circuit for the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup, keeping drivers tense and uncertain.
Mini MAX – Friend, the rain master
Strawberry’s Albert Friend confirms himself as the master of rain, achieving a double win in the heats. Behind him, the battle is fierce between Zdenek Babicek (Tepz Racing – MS) and the British driver Oliver Spencer from the DHR team.
Junior MAX – Ashcroft maintains the lead
British driver Jacob Ashcroft of the DHR – LN team is currently the undisputed leader with two wins out of two heats. His team, Dan Holland Racing, also enjoys victories from Cameron Nelson and Toms Strele.
Senior MAX – Uncertainty reigns supreme
Kai Hunter of the Hunter Racing team stands out so far as the driver with the most wins, having secured three victories. Lewis Gilbert on a Tony Kart from the Kraft team has won two, while Vic Stevens from the Bouvin team, Matthew Higgins from the DHR, Ethan Jeff-Hall (SPR/ Exprit), and Caden McQueen from the KR Sport are all tied with one win each.
DD2 / DD2 Masters – New protagonists emerge
Yesterday’s winners, Ragnar Veerus (Kivi Racing Team/ Birel ART) in DD2, and Nicolas Picot (Privateer – Tony Kart) in DD2 Masters, pass the torch to Patriks Locmelis of the Biedriba MRG (Birel ART) team and Martynas Tankevicius (Privateer/ Birel ART).
The heats will continue throughout the afternoon, maintaining high attention and competition on this wet circuit due to adverse weather.
