Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) remained in the lead at the start ahead of Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame), with Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame) in 3rd place ahead of David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Ean Eyckmans (Birel ART/TM) who got off to a good start. Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) followed in 13th and 14th after a good start. Pavan took the lead. Eyckmans overtook Walther for 4th place. Lewis Wherrell (Exprit/TM) set a good pace in 6th position. Fionn MacLaughlin (KR/Iame) made up 10 places to move into the top 10. Further back, Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM) had moved up 14 places to 21st. Shortly before the halfway point, Wherrell was able to take 4th place from Eyckmans, but he then went wide and dropped back to 8th. Pavan also lost time and suddenly found himself under threat from Ramaekers. The Belgian hit the Italian at high speed as he tried to overtake him. Matveev thus regained P1 1.3″ ahead of Eyckmans. Davide Bottaro (CRG/Iame) was closing in on 3rd place. Matveev took the lead by 1.5″, while Eyckmans secured 2nd place from Bottaro, who set the fastest lap. MacLaughlin achieved a remarkable feat by climbing 16 places to 4th place. Wherrell finished 5th ahead of Papacena and Walther. Pavan, who should logically have won, crossed the line in 9th position. Consani was 11th (up seven places), Drummond 14th (up 21 places) ahead of Quincé.
