Vivien Cussac-Picot (FRA – Tony Kart/Rotax) defended his 1st place against Fabian Bock (DEU – Tony Kart/Rotax), Robert Schlunssen (DNK – Tony Kart/Rotax) and Jack Dex (GBR – MSKart/Rotax). Nadir Kabagge (FRA – Kosmic/Rotax) and Charles Seguin (FRA – Tony Kart/Rotax) were battling it out for 5th place. Dex had taken 2nd place, more than 2 seconds behind Cussac-Picot. Denis Thum (CYP – Tony Kart/Rotax) retired following an incident with Andreas Brenkusch (AUT – Birel ART/Rotax). Dex provoked a reaction from Cussac-Picot, but the leader’s margin was still slightly reduced while Seguin followed in 3rd position. Cussac-Picot controlled the comeback of his opponent Dex who concentrated instead on the increasingly pressing threat of Seguin behind him. Schlunssen was following the battle closely. Cussac-Picot took a superb victory 1.7’ ahead of the trio of Dex, Seguin and Schlussen. Jannik Nielsen (DNK – Tony Kart/Rotax) finished 5th ahead of Kabagge, then Bock 7th, Jérémy Brassler (FRA – Birel ART/Rotax) 8th and Christophe Capitaine (FRA – EOS/Rotax) 9th after a front fairing penalty.
