The track had had time to dry out, at least on the racing line, for the Mini U10 Final of the WSK Super Master Series in Cremona, but there were still some damp patches.
Lucas Palacio (KR/Iame) took the lead thanks to an excellent start from Carl Nellegard (Tony Kart/TM), Blazej Kostrzewa (Parolin/Iame) and poleman David Moscardi (Birel ART/TM). Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) failed to complete a lap. Nellegard took P1 on the second lap, before Kostrzewa moved up to 2nd ahead of Palacio. The positions in the leading trio remained unchanged. Palacio was leading again after the sixth of the race’s nine laps. The young American broke away to take a clear victory with a 2.1″ lead. Nellegard went off the track in a clash with Kostrzewa on the penultimate lap. Moscardi finished 3rd, followed by Rocco Simone (KR/Iame) and Jason Kosmopoulos (Tgroup/TM). After an unfavourable start to the race, Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) was back in 14th place.
