The grip was still reduced at Sarno during the OK-N Junior Final of the WSK Super Master Series, but the rain was no longer a factor. Alex Molota (Gillard/TM) took the lead a few lengths ahead of Nico Carfagna (Parolin/TM), then Ludovico Mazzola (Exprit/Vortex). Valerio Viapiana (KR/Iame) was back in 4th ahead of Cristian Tonalini (Birel ART/TM) and Bogdan Cosma Cristofor (Exprit/TM). Viapiana moved up to 3rd place with Tonalini 4th at the expense of Mazzola. Molota had extended his lead to 1.8” by the fifth lap. Cosma Cristofor, the solid leader in the Championship, didn’t seem to want to take any risks. Viapiana overtook Carfagna for P2 at the halfway stage. Molota continued at a good pace to take a fine victory with the fastest lap, 4” ahead of Viapiana, then Cargagna 3rd at 2”. Tonalini finished 4th and Mazzola 5th, while Cosma Cristofor’s 6th place gave him the title ahead of Molota.
Championship podium.
